E-PTFE nano composite mask special membrane

The key functional material of the e-PTFE nano-composite mask is the e-PTFE microfiltration membrane composite filter material, which uses the principle of physical barrier to protect various particles (such as dust, smoke, fog and microorganisms). The mask material is mainly composed of the outer layer of non-woven fabric or woven fabric, the middle layer of PTFE composite filter material, the inner layer of skin-friendly non-woven fabric or woven fabric composite.

What is ePTFE membrane? The role and use of ePTFE membrane

EPTFE is a microporous membrane formed by expanding and stretching polytetrafluoroethylene as a raw material. Experiments show that the surface of PTFE membrane is full of fibril-like micropores, with as many as 9 billion micropores per square inch. The cross-section is a network structure, and there are very complex structures such as mesh connection, hole insert sleeve, and hole bending on the three-dimensional structure of the hole.

Selection Points of PTFE Gasket

In principle, the selection of Dankai PTFE gasket should be based on the working pressure, working temperature, the corrosiveness of the sealing medium and the form of the combined sealing surface.

Fabrication process of new nano-filter material PTFE microporous membrane for masks

The research of PTFE microporous film in China is carried out late, lagging behind developed countries such as Europe, America and Japan. At present, the production process of PTFE microporous film is calendered film method, turning film method and stretching film method.

Introduction of PTFE lining process

PTFE PTFE enjoys the reputation of "plastic king" and has extremely high chemical stability. The lining equipment processed by it is resistant to almost all strong acids, strong oxidants, reducing agents and various organic solvents, and is also suitable for a wide temperature range. Through certain processing technology improvement, the use of ≤ 2.5MPa under higher pressure can be realized. Dankai PTFE lining equipment has been more and more widely used in chemical production enterprises with high corrosion resistance requirements. For the application of pressure, temperature and other complex conditions of the environment, the PTFE lining structure is usually targeted to be improved, such as: in the PTFE layer to join the metal mesh, can reduce the PTFE lining of thermal expansion and contraction, improve the negative pressure resistance; in the PTFE layer to join the polyethylene propylene, improve the temperature resistance and deformation resistance and so on. PTFE lining can be divided into two kinds of loose lining and tight lining. Loose lining is generally made by winding PTFE tape on the corresponding grinding tools, sintering and forming on the grinding tools, inserting equipment after demoulding, and completing after flanging. The characteristic is that there is a gap between the steel body of the equipment and the lining PTFE plate. It is suitable for conveying pipes and reaction cylinders with small temperature change and positive pressure. The advantages are simple process, less investment and fast forming. The disadvantage is that in the environment with large negative pressure and temperature change, it is easy to cause problems such as internal collapse, bubbling and flange edge cracking of PTFE plate; in electric spark detection, the vacuum on some PTFE plate may not be detected. Tight lining is the surface of the treated PTFE plate, the use of special adhesive, bonded to the inner wall of the steel equipment; is characterized by the equipment steel and lining PTFE plate tightly bonded, no gap; suitable for frequent changes in temperature and pressure and a large range of changes in the environment. Figure 1: PTFE anticorrosive lining Product Source: Network The advantages are: 1. There will be no leakage point in electric spark detection; 2. The larger volume of the overall equipment lining, reduce the sealing point; 3. Not limited by the shape of the equipment, it can be lined with various forms of equipment, such as square. The disadvantage is that the surface treatment of the inner wall of the steel body and the quality of the adhesive determine the stability of the liner. Due to the inherent defects of the loose lining process, there are many problems after it is applied to production. The tight lining equipment can be spliced because of the lining plate, and the splicing gap is welded to make it a whole, so it is no longer restricted by the shape of the equipment. Foreign countries as early as the 1980 s on the use of tight lining process to replace the loose lining. In recent years, many domestic manufacturers have developed their own tight lining equipment technology by absorbing foreign tight lining technology. At present, China's PTFE lining technology has basically reached the international advanced level. This article is originally created by Teflon's little sister.
