If the raw material-PTFE resin has poor fluidity during the production of PTFE bars, it is easy to decompose, and corrosive gas will be generated after decomposition.

    The powder resin of PTFE rod is usually formed by powder metallurgy method and then sintered. Latex resin is generally treated by cold extrusion and re-sintering process, which can form anti-corrosion layer on the surface of articles. If the product is required to have light transmittance and toughness, rapid cooling should be adopted, and then extrusion molding should be adopted, thus producing extruded PTFE rod.
