Teflon rod is a kind of unfilled polytetrafluoroethylene resin (can contain recycled polytetrafluoroethylene resin) bar, using molding, paste extrusion or plunger extrusion molding. Teflon rod operating temperature range is very wide. Resistant to essentially all chemicals except certain fluorides and alkali metals. Teflon rods have excellent mechanical properties, including aging resistance, and are especially suitable for bending and swing applications. It also has good flame retardancy and good insulation properties. The water absorption rate of the tetrafluoro rod is very low, and it has the characteristics of self-lubrication and non-flammability.
There are two types of tetrafluoro rods: push rods and molded rods. 1. Chemical industry: Teflon rods are used as anti-corrosion materials to manufacture various anti-corrosion parts, such as pipes, valves, pumps, pipe fittings, etc. In chemical equipment, PTFE rods can be used to make linings and coatings for reactors, distillation towers and anti-corrosion equipment.
2. Machinery: Teflon rods can be used as self-lubricating bearings, piston rings, oil seals and sealing rings. Self-lubrication can reduce the wear and heat of parts and reduce power consumption.
3. Electronic and electrical appliances: PTFE rods are mainly used to manufacture various wires and cables, battery electrodes, battery separators, printed circuit boards, etc.
