Teflon Rod is an unfilled Teflon resin(May contain recycled PTFE resin) rod, by molding, paste extrusion or plunger extrusion. Teflon rods operate over a wide range of temperatures. It resists almost all chemicals except some fluorides and alkali metals. Teflon rods have excellent mechanical properties, including anti-aging properties, and are particularly suitable for bending and swing applications. It also has good flame retardancy and good insulation properties. The water absorption rate of the tetrafluoro rod is very low, and it has the characteristics of self-lubrication and non-combustion.
Teflon rod has two types: Push rod and molded rod. Among the known plastics, polytetrafluoroethylene has good chemical resistance and dielectric properties. It can be used at -180 ℃-260 ℃ with low friction coefficient. It is mainly suitable for some talents and non-standard mechanical parts: seals/gaskets, ring materials, wear-resistant plates/seats, insulators, corrosion-resistant industries, mechanical parts, linings, oil and gas, petrochemical, chemical, equipment manufacturing, etc. Let's take a look at the application areas of PTFE rods.

1. Chemical industry: As an anti-corrosion material, PTFE rod can be used to manufacture various anti-corrosion parts, such as pipes, valves, pumps, pipe fittings, etc. In chemical equipment, PTFE rods can be used to make linings and coatings for reactors, distillation columns, and anti-corrosion equipment.
2. Machinery: Teflon rods can be used as self-lubricating bearings, piston rings, oil seals and sealing rings. Self-lubrication can reduce the wear and heat of parts and reduce power consumption.
3. Electronic and electrical appliances: PTFE rods are mainly used to manufacture various wires and cables, battery electrodes, battery separators, printed circuit boards, etc.
4. Medical materials: PTFE rods can be used as materials for various medical devices and artificial organs due to their heat resistance and water resistance. The former are filters, beakers and artificial heart-lung devices, while the latter are artificial blood vessels, heart and esophagus. Teflon rods have been widely used as sealing materials and filling materials.
