The full name of fep is translated as fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer. Fep is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene. The Fep crystal has a melting point of 304 ° C. and a density of 2.15g/cc. Fep can be applied to soft plastics, and its tensile strength, wear resistance, and creep resistance are lower than many engineering plastics. below to understand the fep tube.
1. performance, parameters
volume resistance> 1018 Ωm, surface resistance> 1013 Ω, arc resistance> 165 seconds, no leakage; Low coefficient of dynamic friction: 0.2-0.3; The fep tube is non-sticky, and the contact angle θ of water and oil-water is 114. It is non-combustible and does not burn in air (oxygen index> 95VOL%), and the shrinkage rate is 1.7:1.
2.FEPtube features
1, high and low temperature resistance: working temperature -200 ℃ ~ 200 ℃, the strength is twice as large as F4.

2. Non-stick, water and oil, no scaling inside and outside the pipe wall, no flow, low friction coefficient;
3, electrical reliability, low dielectric constant (insulation), high insulation 601HZ-60MH high and low temperature dielectric constant viscosity is 2.1. Even if diving damages the surface, it will not generate electricity; track volume resistance> 10180M, surface resistance> 2*10130M; arc resistance> 165 seconds and no leakage.
4. Corrosion resistance: only elemental fluorine at high temperature, alkali metal and its synergy, fep tube has no effect on all other concentrated and dilute inorganic organic acids, alkalis and esters; Chemical inertness;
5, low water absorption rate, low water absorption rate <0.01%;
6, non-flammable, feP tube in the air will not burn (oxygen index> 95VOL%), physiological inertia;
7. High transparency, low refractive index of light in all plastics; transparent hose; weather resistance: long-term exposure to ozone, sunlight, UV resistance (no aging);
8. Easy secondary processing: the feb tube can be self-sealing, self-welding, flanging, and can be made into coils.
FEP is used for film printed boards, wire and cable insulation, generator wire windings, electrical insulation parts (sheets, rods, tubes, frames and insulators), corrosion-resistant structural products (oil-free mechanical parts), coatings and glass varnishes. Excellent corrosion resistance makes it suitable for chemical work equipment, heat exchangers, fractionation towers, pumps, valves, pipes, seals, pipe linings, laboratory transparent containers, etc. The fep tube can be used in heat exchangers, suitable for heating and cooling-strong corrosive liquids in the range of 200 to 200°C.
