The full name of fep is translated as fluorinated ethylene propylene copolymer. Fep is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene. The Fep crystal has a melting point of 304°C and a density of 2.15g/cc (grams per cubic centimeter). Fep can be applied to soft plastics, and its tensile strength, wear resistance, and creep resistance are lower than many engineering plastics. Let's take a look at the feptube.
1. performance and parameters
volume resistance> 1018 Ωm, surface resistance> 1013 Ω, arc resistance> 165 seconds, no leakage; Low dynamic friction coefficient: 0.2-0.3; The fep tube is not sticky, and the contact angle θ of water and oil water is 114. Non-combustible, non-combustible in air (oxygen index> 95VOL%), shrinkage rate 1.7:1.
2.FEPtube features
1, high and low temperature resistance: working temperature -200 ℃ ~ 200 ℃, the strength is 2 times of F4.

2. Non-stick, water and oil, no scaling inside and outside the pipe wall, no flow, low friction coefficient;
3, electrical reliability, low dielectric constant (insulation), high insulation 601HZ-60MH high and low temperature dielectric constant viscosity is 2.1. Even if diving damages the water surface, it will not generate electricity. Track volume resistance> 10180M, surface resistance> 2*10130M; Arc resistance> 165 seconds without leakage.
4, corrosion resistance: at high temperature, only elemental fluorine, alkali metal and its synergy, feP tube on all other concentrated, dilute inorganic organic acids, alkali, esters have no effect;
5, low water absorption rate, low water absorption rate <0.01%;
6, non-combustible, feP tube does not burn in the air (oxygen index> 95VOL%), physiological inertia;
7. High transparency in all plastics, low refractive index to light; transparent hose; weather resistance: long-term exposure to ozone and sunlight, anti-ultraviolet (no aging);
8. Easy secondary processing: the feb tube can be self-sealing, self-welding, flanging, and can be made into coils.
Fep is used for film printed boards, wire and cable insulation, generator wire windings, electrical insulation parts (sheets, rods, tubes, frames and insulators), corrosion-resistant structural products (oil-free lubrication mechanical parts), coatings and glass varnishes. The excellent corrosion resistance of the FEP tube makes it suitable for chemical work equipment, heat exchangers, fractionation towers, pumps, valves, pipes, seals, pipe linings, laboratory transparent containers, etc., ranging from -200 to 200°C.
