ECTFE(Halat),ETFE(Teflon), FEP(Teflon), PFA(Teflon) and modified PTFE, like partially fluorinated or perfluorinated polymer materials, can be processed by thermoplastic molding methods, and they are almost all Organic and inorganic compounds, whether acidic or alkaline, have high resistance. These materials exhibit a generally durable resistance to acids, alkaline solvents and chlorides. A class of thermoplastic resins containing fluorine atoms in their molecular structures. It also shows excellent resistance to mechanical damage in terms of wear resistance, impact resistance and toughness.
The performance characteristics of various coating materials are summarized as follows:
1. PTFE
● The maximum use temperature is 300 ℃.
● Continuous use temperature 260 ℃.
The sintering temperature used for PTFE coating is 380~420 ℃.
Low coefficient of friction and, good wear resistance and excellent chemical stability.
● The spraying thickness of PTFE is about 50um (liquid). PTFE has no powder coating, but powder is used for lining. The thickness of lining ranges from 2mm to 5mm. The anti-corrosion thickness is based on customer requirements. Liquid is used for anti-sticking, wear-resistant and other colors.
● Corrosion resistance: PTFE is almost not corroded by drugs, which can protect the product from any kind of chemical corrosion.
● PTFE used in anti-corrosion can only be lined, not suitable for coating.
2. PFA
● The maximum use temperature is 290 ℃.
● Continuous use temperature 260 ℃.
The sintering temperature used for the PFA coating was 380°C.
● With higher continuous use temperature, stronger hardness, especially suitable for use in high temperature conditions of anti-adhesive and chemical resistance to use in the field.
● The spraying thickness of PFA is 100um (liquid), which is mainly used for anti-sticking and high temperature resistance. The spraying thickness of PFA electrostatic powder can range from 0.2mm to 1.0mm. Generally, primer should be matched and cannot be used alone. The colors are black and brown. The primer is liquid, the surface layer is powder, the liquid should use air spray gun, and the powder should use electrostatic powder spray gun.
● Corrosion resistance: PFA is almost not corroded by drugs and can protect the product from any kind of chemical corrosion.
3. FEP
● The maximum use temperature is 230 ℃.
● Continuous use temperature 200 ℃.
The sintering temperature used for the FEP coating was 360°C.
● FEP coating is the toughest fluoropolymer, can form a highly durable coating, has excellent chemical resistance, and can work continuously at 200 ℃.
● The spraying thickness of FEP is 50um (liquid), which is mainly used for anti-sticking and (normal use below 200 ℃). The spraying thickness of PFA electrostatic powder can range from 0.2mm to 1.0mm. Generally, primer should be matched and cannot be used alone. The color is black and green. The primer is liquid, the surface layer is powder, the liquid should use air spray gun, and the powder should use electrostatic powder spray gun.
● Corrosion resistance: FEP is almost not corroded by drugs and can protect the product from any kind of chemical corrosion.
4. ETFE
● The maximum use temperature is 200 ℃.
● Continuous use temperature 150 ℃.
The sintering temperature used for the ETFE coating was 280-320°C.
● ETFE can form a highly durable coating, has excellent chemical resistance, and can be continuously operated at 150 ℃.
● The spraying thickness of ETFE can range from 0.2mm to 1.8mm, divided into primer and topcoat.
ETFE powder coating as a corrosion-resistant protective coating, is widely used in the chemical industry, paper industry, pharmaceutical industry, food industry and semiconductor industry.
五、ECTFE
● The maximum use temperature is 200 ℃.
● Continuous use temperature 150 ℃.
The sintering temperature used for the ECTFE coating was between 270-290°C.
The resin is the toughest fluoropolymer, can form a highly durable coating, and can work continuously at 150 ℃.
● ECTFE coating for excellent surface smoothness and chemical resistance.
● Spray thickness of ECTFE can range from 0.2mm to 1.5mm, divided into primer and topcoat.
● Usually ECTFE powder coating is applied to stainless steel and carbon steel surfaces, of course, other metals (copper, aluminum, titanium) and ceramic surfaces have also been successfully applied.
