What material is 1. Teflon? When we learn chemistry, we have learned polytetrafluoroethylene, molecular formula: C2F4, tetrafluoroethylene is mainly made of chloroform, and it can also be made of tetrafluorodichloroethane in the presence of chlorine trifluoride by catalytic dechlorination. It can also be copolymerized with ethylene or hexafluoropropylene to prepare fluorine-containing insulating materials, or copolymerized with vinylidene fluoride to produce fluorine-containing fibers.
