3. Threaded connection: For small-diameter PTFE pipes, external or internal thread connection can be used. Due to the wear resistance and self-lubrication of PTFE itself, although threads can be made directly, relaxation may occur under long-term load due to its large cold flow. Therefore, special metal bushings are usually installed in the threaded part, which not only enhances the mechanical strength of the connection parts, but also prevents the connection failure caused by the material characteristics.
4. Socket welding: This is a more professional connection technology, which is mainly used for the connection of PTFE pipes that require high sealing or pressure resistance. During operation, specially designed socket welding molds and equipment are required to apply heat and pressure to the pipe interface to make the PTFE material reach a molten state and fuse with each other, and form a firm joint after cooling.
5. Adhesive connection: the use of special formula of PTFE glue, used for the connection of smaller diameter PTFE tube, especially suitable for the implementation of hot melt docking or mechanical connection.
